Candle Care

When lighting your candle for the 1st time, burn until wax melts across the entire surface to the sides of the container (this helps prevent tunneling, and creates an even burn for the duration of the candle’s ‘life’)

If you do not allow a full melt pool you may get wax remaining alongside the sides of your jar.

It is very important to remember to keep your wick centered and trimmed 1⁄4 before and after every burn.

To make the most out of your candle - burn your candle 2 or more hours every use.

To preserve the fragrance, do not burn candles more than 4 hours at a time.

Before each burn trim wick to 1⁄4 of an inch before each burn to promote an even burn, steady flame and limit soothing/mushrooming of wick.

Never burn your candle on a delicate or non-heat resistant surface or near anything that can catch fire.

To increase your scent throw, burn in desired space for 30 mins with the door closed. Open windows and doors will disperse scent.

Never leave your candles unattended.

Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets.

Avoid burning in drafts such as open windows, ceiling fans and air currents.

Never touch a burning candle or move a votive or container candle when the wax is liquid.

For margin of safety don’t burn a candle all the way down. Discontinue burning when only 1/2′′ of wax remains.
